We talk about weird and wonderful things.

The channels help millions of inquisitive minds around the globe learn fun and interesting facts about weird and wonderful things. Questions like “What If Everyone Jumped At Once?” and “Is The 5-Second Rule True?” are answered in a comprehensive, interactive and entertaining way.

It all started in 2010 with Michael.

Vsauce began as a channel revolving around video game comedy content. And yes, in the early days, Michael did make an episode called “Mario Farts!” Today, the Vsauce goal focuses on seeking answers to big, unexplored questions like, “Why Are Things Creepy?” and “What If You Were Born In Space?”

Michael Stevens

Michael is based in London, where he writes, hosts and edits his videos to make sure they feed your hunger for cool, outrageous facts. The channel digs deep into the world of mystery - it’s a good question if Michael initially has no idea how to investigate it. In tackling a question like “How Much Does a Shadow Weigh?” Vsauce1 captures your attention with a seemingly absurd question, but ultimately - you end up learning a lot - even if by accident.

then came kevin.

Michael discovered Kevin’s YouTube channel and reached out about contributing to Vsauce. While other Vsauce contributors came and went, Kevin kept creating. Slowly the video game comedy theme of Vsauce matured into science and technology. Kevin gauged the audience's interests, interacted with fans and fine-tuned his videos to fit a wider audience. After three years of deep-frying chicken wings and cleaning bars while making videos in his spare time, Kevin began working on Vsauce2 full-time in 2011.

Kevin Lieber

Kevin is based in New York, where he makes episodes that inspire and entertain by examining the everyday amazing… and the not-so-everyday amazing. From mind-blowing technology to the origins of the things around us, Vsauce2 is a hub for utmost awesomeness in human creation.

And Then Came Jake.

The Vsauce3 journey began when Jake and Michael met in 2011 at the YouTube Next Lab in New York, when Jake was working on Space Lab - a kids show about Space! Jake sneakily worked his way into editing a DONG video and the rest is internet history. Now Jake is the proud father of Vsauce3 - a love so strong, it’s only matched by his love of tacos.

Jake Roper
